BUGS CAUSED SPECIFICALLY BY PATCH v1.02 (All Widespread Issues)

  • MyPOINTs are not applying to Cap Breaker (but still are to badges), unclear if visual glitch. For some players, it fixes itself over time but then the issue pops up again.
  • Issue with starting practice/gym drills, tells you you don't have any available after a game.
  • Some users are getting a bug where they have been reset to 60 OVR. Restarting the game fixes it.
  • Severe lag throughout the game on Xbox One. Requires a hard reset to fix.

BUGS/GLITCHES

  • (Highly Voted) When calling for a pick the pick icon is flipped. Please rotate 180*. Video, see 2:00 mark
  • (Highly Voted) Gatorade Endorsement check is always blank, no VC awarded
  • (Highly Voted) Animations can only be edited in Neighborhood and not, for example, in locker room or MyCOURT (This was sent with Feedback 1 as well but it gets mentioned so often I decided to include it again)
  • Issue with textures in face scanned players in Park. All appear low-res.
  • Whenever I want to equip my custom jumpshot, it automatically changes to the jumper that I chose the base form from. => i.e. I have a custom jumper with MJ's base and when I choose that one and exit the animation menu, it automatically changes to MJ's jumpshot instead of my custom one.
  • Posterizer drill for athletic big men - the defender sometimes spawns too close to you, forcing your player to do a layup since a posterizing dunk is physically impossible
  • If I join a new Park, then Park games don't start up at all for me.
  • The announcers still say you have one less rebound than you actually have (ongoing problem from 2K17)
  • Skill boosts are being used up when playing MyCourt games with my friends. This most definitely did not happen last year in 2k18.
  • Players are having trouble connecting to servers. Isolated cases, 2K Support has a list of error codes

SUGGESTIONS/COMMENTS

  • (Highly Voted) Reduce Pro-Am player requirement to 3 instead of 5. (This was sent with Feedback 1 as well but it gets mentioned so often I decided to include it again)
  • (Highly Voted) Comprehensive and detailed patch notes every time something is tweaked/adjusted/balanced. Almost every other game with a "competitive" online scene puts out detailed patch notes when they balance something (Overwatch, League of Legends, even Fortnite!). Most of people are reasonable individuals who would understand if given an explanation. It is one of the simplest and easiest things that would go a long way in improving relations between the dev team and the community.
  • Please make the training drills end once we get 3 stars (or make it worth the time to keep doing the drill past 3 stars)
  • Please include a progress bar for the MyCareer Daily Goals.
  • Add face scan to MyLeague created players.
  • Bring back public ASTU with friends
  • The penalty for bad teammate plays are too much to come back from when good plays don’t garner a bigger grade boost
  • Incentives in MyCareer should stack, or at least 1 incentive per game from each endorsement
  • Allow us to add/remove headbands to NBA players in MyLeague and MyGM again, as well as in the roster editor.
  • Allow us to edit wingspan, shoulder width, and body length of NBA players again.
  • Add hairstyle colors (red, blue, green, etc.) back to the offline CAP.
  • MyTEAM - Please add a way to compare cards from the Auction House to your owned cards like last year.
  • MyTEAM - Add the ability to search for a player that you already own from the Collections page.
  • MyTEAM - Show how much you bought a card for on the auction outcomes page.
  • MyTEAM - Maybe increase the number of fouls allowed before a team fouls out in online games? In Unlimited, my cpu-controlled teammates foul a lot and have caused me to be kicked from games.
  • MyTEAM - Finally, the ability to check on our win condition progress during a MyTeam challenge game would be great. I know it briefly appears at the top right of the screen sometimes, but it would be nice if we could check it in the pause and timeout menus.
  • Would be awesome to have the dunk tendencies of players updated. Gerald Wallace has a 0 for all dunk tendencies, Danny Granger is near zero, DeAndre Ayton and other rookies are near 0. Michael Jordan's all-time version has lower tendencies than the versions of himself on classic teams. This seems to be the case for a lot of all-time players when compared to either their current versions or class team versions.

Hi everyone! It’s been a busy month for MAME development, and we’ve got a whole lot of surprises to unwrap today as we continue to celebrate twenty years of MAME. First up, we’ve added some incredibly rare systems to MAME. Omega is an Arkanoid-inspired arcade game with a production run of about ten boards. Dodge Man is a rare Omori title from 1983. The vertical version of Flash Boy, a DECO Cassette title that borrows more than a little from a well known anime is another very rare game that was at risk of becoming nothing but a memory. Westinghouse Test Console #5 is possibly a one-of-a-kind wire-wrapped prototype machine for field-programming some kind of interlocking equipment (it has a rude easter egg – press X|TRAN in calculator mode to see it). Less rare, but still awesome, are arcade titles Galaxy Games StarPak 3, Sega Sonic Cosmo Fighter, and a U.S. release of Puzznic with the digitised photos intact.
This release adds support for a number of electronic toys/handheld games, including Atari’s Touch Me (a clone of Simon, which is itself a clone of an Atari arcade game), GAF Melody Madness, Lakeside Le Boom, and with possibly the most awesome title if not gameplay, LJN’s I Took a Lickin’ From a Chicken. Many of these games have colourful, clickable artwork. MAME is dedicated to preserving more than just video games, and these systems are great examples of some of the other experiences you can relive through emulation.
If you use MAME’s computer emulation and have been frustrated by modifiers not working properly in natural keyboard mode, you’ll be pleased to know that this release addresses that. Natural keyboard mode now works properly with many more systems, including Amiga, Sun and RM Nimbus. Speaking of Amiga, we’ve emulated a 3rd-party variant of the Amiga 1200 keyboard and added support for many different language variants, so chances are you’ll be able to use keyboard that matches your Workbench language. And speaking of keyboards, the Zorba keyboard now works properly, so you can try out one of the last luggable CP/M machines.
Other improvements include fixing the crash on encountering invalid cheats, allowing multi-part software list entries to load each part on the correct interface, emulation of the Poly-Play light organ, a brand new preliminary Interpro 2800 driver and Clipper CPU core, support for VIC-20 and C64 speech synthesiser cartridges, support for the Osborne-1 Nuevo Video 80-column modification, protection MCU emulation in Bad Dudes vs. Dragonninja and Bouncing Balls, audio improvements to a number of supported games, and optimisation of the netlist emulation.
Some of these improvements might seem inconsequential, or apply to systems you don’t use, but they often lie in common components used by many other systems. For example, the Amiga 1200 and Zorba keyboards use the same MCU family used in a lot of arcade games published by Taito. The same change that fixes the Zorba keyboard also fixes enemy spawning and timing in Xain'd Sleena. The Nuevo Video board uses a common Motorola CRT controller, so improvements made to support it stand to benefit a lot of other systems.
